Ponti Balsamic vinegar is extraordinary in the kitchen and great on the table, they are the result of a delighted blend between selected grape musts and precious wine vinegar, followed by a certified maturation period in different wooden core casks. A new addition to the Ponti family, this light and delicate condiment is made using age-old craft techniques from blending the finest Ponti white wine vinegar with selected white perfumed and aromatic grape musts. This produces a sweeter and slightly less acidic finish. Use as you would regular, dark balsamic but as well as adding flavour and acidity white balsamic vinegar has the advantage of not discolouring food so it is particularly useful for dressing fish, chicken and other light coloured dishes.
White Balsamic Vinegar (Balsama Bianco, Agrodolce Bianco) - white balsamic is made from white grape must and white wine vinegar in exactly the same way as the more usual dark balsamic vinegars which are made from red grapes.
