About the Product

Prolicious Oats Chilla Mix is a plant-based high-protein breakfast made using oats. Chilla is a traditional North Indian savoury or sweet pancake made with unleavened batter. The sweet version has jaggery and cardamoms while the savoury version has spices and a few vegetables like tomatoes and onions. Chilla is a delicious and healthy breakfast that is made simply thanks to Prolicious Oats Chilla Mix. Oats are a source of important vitamins, minerals, fibre, and antioxidants including avenanthramides. These compounds may help reduce blood pressure and have anti-inflammatory properties. The high fibre content helps reduce cholesterol and blood sugar levels promote healthy gut bacteria, and increases feelings of fullness. Prolicious has a wide range of plant-based protein products ranging from pastas, dosas, pancakes, khakra and noodles.

How to Use

1. To make 2 Chillas, mix 50g of Oats Chilla premix with 110ml of water.
2. To make 10 Chillas, mix 250g of Oats Chilla premix with 550ml of water.
3. Whisk the premix with water into a uniform mixture. Avoid lumps.
4. Add vegetables of your choice like tomato, and onion.
5. Add some oil to a heated pan, and pour 85 ml (1/2 cup) of batter.
6. Cook on both sides until it turns crispy and golden.
7. Enjoy with mint chutney or pickle.
