It is enriched with “Varnya” herbs that remove tan, revealing soft, dewy and glowing skin. Turmeric or Haridra protects skin from the sun and lightens dark spots. The bark of four Ficus species or Nalpamara brightens the skin. Cooling and healing herbs like Vetiver or Usira, renew skin and Indian gooseberry or Amla, reduces tan. These herbs, along with Red sandalwood or Raktachandana, Indian madder or Manjistha, and more, are cooked in coconut oil. Kerala Ayurveda Nalpamaradi Keram follows the exact recipe found in the ancient Ayurvedic text Sahasrayogam, to help your skin repair and heal from sun damage.
