Unlike in other houses, in my house khichdi used to be the special food. Mummy used to add her special masala to it. We have tried to recreate the same masala in our 75g glass jar. Made with the unique combination of 24 premium spices, Rooted Peepul khichdi masala will give any good biryani a run for its money. Less chilli and more spice. A lot of masalas have red chilli as the predominant spice and so the other spices are proportionately less. Rooted peepul has carefully maintained a correct balance of spices with chilli, making it more flavourful. For everyone. If you are a food lover who simply wants to enjoy food without getting into the nitty gritty of it, you will love it. And if you are a food connoisseur, you will be able to taste and relish the small detailing we have worked on while creating our masalas. These have no Preservatives, No MSG, No Added colour, or artificial flavour. They are extremely healthy and pure.

How to Use

Soak 1 cup rice and half cup red masoor dal in a pan.
Take 2 tbsp ghee. Sauté 1 sliced onion till golden brown.
Add 1/2 tsp whole jeera, and some whole garam masala.
Add the washed and soaked rice.
Add 1.5 Tsp Rooted Peepul Mummy Wala Khichdi Masala.
Add salt to taste. Add 2 cups of water.
Cook for around 15 min till rice is done.
