Heat fresh, cold, filtered water.
Into a tea maker/teapot, spoon a measured amount of tea leaves before pouring the hot water.
Allow the leaves to steep for the recommended duration.
Once ready, discard infused leaves to avoid over-steeping. Add condiments, as desired, while the tea is still hot.
