It is as nutritious as the equivalent unbroken rice (i.e. if all the germ and bran remains, it is as nutritious as brown rice; if none remains, it is only as nutritious as white rice). It looks very similar to normal rice, only the grains are broken into smaller pieces.

Storage and Uses

Store in cool and dry hygienic place.
Rinse the rice with cool water 2-3 times or until the water is mostly clear.
Transfer the rice into a rice cooker. Add the water and salt.
Set to cook use a standard white rice setting.
When the cook time is completed, stir the rice.
Cover and keep warm until ready to serve.
