Take 4 cups of water in a pan and bring it to a boil.
Add 1 cup rice and stir. Add salt, butter or oil if desired. 
Leave it uncovered for 7-8 minutes, stirring occasionally with a fork.
Drain excess water, keep for 15 minutes and then serve.
Store in a cool, dry and Hygienic place.
