Dr. Rashel white skin cream is an interesting product. Purports to lighten skin, but the jury is still out on that. Made in India, this is touted as Vegan and cruelty-free (with Peta certification). Lots of ingredients listed in this, however, including niacinamide (which is a good skin care ingredient) and some other stuff I'm not familiar with. However, this did not irritate my skin, but as I said, so far has had no effects, either good or bad. Does provide great hydration. Four stars.

The Dr. Rashel day cream looked a little weird when I took it out of the box. It appeared that some of the cream had splooshed out and then dried in place while the jar was still in the box. Because of the way this looked, I felt a little wary at first, but it smelled normal and a patch test on my arm went okay, so I went ahead and used it. This day cream is pretty different from my typical gel-lotion moisturizer. It didn't absorb as well or as quickly as my typical moisturizer, was lightly scented (which my moisturizer is not), and when I initially applied the day cream, it had a mattifying effect, which was different than the dewy finish from my moisturizer. Although it did moisturize to some extent, I didn't care for the texture of the day cream on my skin. In addition, by the end of the day, some new acne had emerged in my T-zone, which is my biggest deal breaker for skin care products. I do have very sensitive and oily skin, though, so it's possible that this cream just isn't a match for me, but would work very well for others with dry-to-normal, less sensitive skin. I was unable to use this cream long enough to determine whether it would have a brightening effect over time. As for product quality, it's hard for me to assess since it's incompatible with my skin, and because all the stickers on the packaging and the way the jar arrived looking made me a little wary.

The jar has 50 grams of cream. The cream has glycerin, Niacinamide and Arbutin. That is a good comination. I like that the cream is SPF 20. I also like that this is dermatologist tested!

The product is not original ❌. The cream texture is completely different than that of original cream. It doesn't give that instant glow which we get using the original one. DON'T BUY
